Sarah loved living in D.C. Her parents weren’t overly thrilled about her moving more than an hour away, but when she told them it was either Washington or Washington State they quickly learned to love the idea. The initial year out gave Sarah her first real taste of independence which she hated and loved simultaneously. For starters, transitioning to life on her own wasn’t easy. Sarah's P.O.V
Mondays had always been Sarah's least favourite day of the week. One it meant that she had to go back to school, Two that she would get a load more homework to do after she had just finished the last lot and Three because it would be a whole five days before the weekend. In short the reason Sarah detested Mondays was because it meant she had to spend five days in hell. The Goblin King was sulking.
Of course, he'd deny it, if anybody, goblin, dwarf, Fae, elf, whatever, happen to mention it. It wasn't his posture that gave him away. After all, he NEVER sat upright, "correctly" in his throne, and he frequently had his hand on his chin while thinking. AND he also frequently held his riding crop while doing so.
One tip-off was the expression on his face, although you'd have to be a brave chicken (or very very fool-hardy) to try for a close look.
Another was the weather in the Labyrinth itself: not an outright storm, but building clouds and unpredictable winds.

Plot Summary: Sarah has been training to be Jareth’s queen for quite some time, and she’s grown rather frustrated being a magic-less, or defenseless against her future mother-in-law. Also, the elegant clothes can’t compare to her sexy boots. Really she just wants a break to be with her family without magic. Will Jareth be willing to give her twenty four hours of magic free twists?
This is a work in progress, though I have no scheduled plans for working on it right now on account of college.
